Terms of service
The terms for using Griho: your account, plans and payments, what you may and may not do, messaging rules, and what happens if you stop using it.
This is a draft under legal review. The final version will be dated when it takes effect.
These terms are the agreement between you and ceKapsys (Shaptak Square, Dhanmondi 27, Dhaka 1209, Bangladesh) for using Griho. By creating an account you accept them. If you use Griho for a business or on someone else's behalf, you accept them for that business or person too.
Your account
- You must give accurate details and keep your sign-in private. You're responsible for what happens under your account, including by anyone you add to it.
- Tell us straight away at sendmail@cekapsys.com if you think someone else has used your account.
- One person or business per account. Staff accounts are created only by ceKapsys.
Your records and your tenants
- The flats, tenants, payments and documents you enter are yours. We use them only to run Griho for you, as described in the privacy policy.
- You're responsible for having a lawful reason to record your tenants' and their families' details, and for telling them that you use Griho to keep your rent records and send them receipts and reminders.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of what you record, and for your leases and your dealings with your tenants. Griho is a record-keeping tool. It doesn't give legal, tax or financial advice, and figures it shows depend on what you enter.
Messages to tenants
- Griho sends messages only to the numbers and email addresses saved on your tenants, using approved templates.
- You must not use Griho to send messages to people who aren't your tenants, or to harass, threaten or mislead anyone.
- Daily limits apply to protect tenants from too many messages. We may pause messaging from an account that is misusing it.
Plans and payments
- Every new account starts with a 14-day trial of the Growth plan, then moves to the Free plan unless you choose a paid plan. Free has no end date.
- Paid plans are paid for in advance, monthly or yearly, by bKash or through SSLCommerz. Nothing renews automatically: you pay each renewal yourself.
- Prices are shown in taka on the pricing page when you pay. We'll tell you before any price change applies to your renewal.
- If a renewal isn't paid by the end of the period, you get 7 days of grace to pay. After that the account becomes read-only: you can see and download everything, but can't make changes, until you renew.
- If you move to a plan with fewer flats than you have, the extra flats become read-only. Nothing is deleted.
- If you think you were charged incorrectly, email us and we'll look into it.
What you may not do
- break the law, or use Griho to break someone else's rights
- try to access another account's data, or test Griho's security without our written permission
- interfere with the service, overload it, or use automated tools to scrape it
- copy, resell or rebuild Griho, or remove our notices
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where we can, we'll warn you first and give you time to download your records.
The service
- We work to keep Griho available and your data safe, but we can't promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- Messages depend on WhatsApp, email and SMS providers, and payments on payment gateways. We aren't responsible for their outages.
- We may change or improve features. If we remove something significant from a paid plan, we'll tell you in advance.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, ceKapsys is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or lost data arising from use of Griho, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Ending your use
You can stop using Griho at any time and ask us to close your account. Before closing, download anything you want to keep. We may end the service for all users with at least 60 days' notice, giving you time to export your records.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. We'd like to resolve any disagreement by talking first: email us. If that fails, the courts of Dhaka will have jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We'll post changes on this page with a new date, and email owners about significant changes before they take effect. Continuing to use Griho after a change means you accept it.
